A throw weight is used to carry a throwline over a chosen branch or anchor point. You attach your throwline to the steel ring or transfer loop, throw the weight over the target, then use the line to haul in your working rope or rigging.

The outer bag is 100% 1,000 denier Cordura fabric for abrasion resistance and high tensile strength. It has a solid steel ring and box-stitched closure to reduce the risk of failure during routine use.

Check the stitching, ring and transfer loop before use. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, dry thoroughly and store away from prolonged UV exposure. Replace the weight if you find fraying, compromised stitching or deformation of the steel ring.
