How do I start the 122HD45?

Set the stop switch to ON (it auto-resets), use the air purge to remove air from the carburettor/fuel system, then pull the starter. Smart Start® reduces starter cord resistance so starting requires less effort. Refer to the user manual for full starting and choke instructions.
