Practical petrol hedge trimmer for domestic use. The 122HD60 is lightweight (4.9 kg without cutting equipment) and fitted with a long 59 cm cutter bar for extended reach. It features Smart Start® and an air purge for easier starting, LowVib® dampeners to reduce vibration, an adjustable rear handle for ergonomic work angles and a low-noise engine suited to residential gardens.

Comfortable, low-vibration operation

LowVib® dampeners reduce the vibration transmitted to your hands and arms, making it easier to work for longer without excessive fatigue. Equivalent vibration levels are 3.6 m/s² at the rear handle and 4.1 m/s² at the front handle.

Easy and reliable starting

Smart Start® together with an air purge and auto-return stop switch reduces starter cord resistance and helps ensure a fast, trouble-free start even after storage.

Long reach and cutting performance

A 59 cm cutter bar with 28 mm teeth opening and a cutting speed of 4,050 cuts/min lets you tackle medium to tall hedges and denser growth with fewer passes.

FAQs

Will this fit my machine?

Fitment can vary by model and deck size. Send us your mower model (and deck size if applicable) and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order.

Do I need any extra brackets or fitting kits?

Some accessories require a mounting kit or specific brackets depending on your machine. If you’re unsure, ask us and we’ll advise the correct setup.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes — if you’d like installation, let us know when ordering and we can arrange fitting (collection, workshop fit, or on-site depending on the product).

What fuel do I use and how much does the tank hold?

Use fresh unleaded petrol and follow the fuel recommendations in the operator’s manual. The fuel tank capacity is 0.3 litres; consult the manual for any required oil/fuel mixing instructions and approved lubricants.

How should I maintain and sharpen the blades?

Keep blades clean and free of sap and debris after each use. Inspect for damage and ensure the teeth opening remains clear. Minor sharpening can be done with a file or a specialist sharpening service; for blade replacement, adjustment or major repairs use an authorised Husqvarna service centre to maintain cutting performance and safety.

What personal protective equipment (PPE) do I need?

Wear hearing protection (operator ear sound pressure 94 dB(A)), eye protection, cut-resistant gloves, sturdy footwear and suitable trousers. Follow the safety instructions in the manual and take regular breaks to limit exposure to noise and vibration.
