Check your saw’s specifications for chain pitch (.325″), gauge (1.3 mm), drive link count and bar mount type (HSM). If those match, this bar will be compatible. When in doubt, consult your chainsaw or pole saw manual or bring the old bar/chain to a dealer to confirm.

Remove the chain and tensioning components, fit the bar to the studs making sure the nose sprocket aligns, loop the correct chain around the sprocket and clutch drum, then refit the side cover and tension the chain to the manufacturer’s recommended specification. Always follow your machine manual and use appropriate PPE.

Keep the chain sharp and correctly tensioned, check and clean the oiling groove and sprocket nose, and inspect for rail wear or damage. Rotate or flip the bar periodically to equalise wear. Replace the bar if the rails are uneven, the nose is damaged, or the sprocket is worn.
