CEORA 546 EPOS is the Husqvarna drive unit designed for very large-area, professional robotic mowing. It uses satellite-based RTK‑GNSS EPOS® technology for virtual, wire‑free boundaries with accuracy down to approximately 2 cm. Supplied as the drive unit only, it is intended to be fitted with the tailored cutting decks RZ 43M/RZ 43L and a CS4 charging station to make a complete installation. The unit is built for continuous, quiet operation, remote management and low emissions during use.

Wire‑free EPOS precision

RTK‑GNSS EPOS® gives virtual boundaries and positioning to about 2 cm without the need for perimeter wire, making installations more robust and allowing turf work such as deep aeration without damaging a wire system.

Capacity for very large areas

Designed for large sites such as multiple sports pitches, golf courses and commercial estates. The unit supports long duty cycles (max active time listed as 24 h) and a high‑capacity battery (49 Ah) for extended operation.

Remote fleet control and tracking

Full integration with Husqvarna Fleet Services and Automower Connect lets you monitor location, start/stop machines, receive alarms and track units for theft protection. Remote control and group commands simplify managing multiple machines.

Temporary stay-out zones

Temporary stay-out zones

When the need arises, create temporary stay-out zones in your robot installation. Activates or deactivates quick and easy through the mobile app. Practically useful if part of the surface area needs to be restricted for a temporary construction work, seeding or during events.

EPOS guidance

EPOS guidance

Automatically calculates the most efficient route to and from the charging station’s docking point. It will vary its route on the lawn to avoid unpleasant tracks.

Maintenance point

Maintenance point

Designate and mark a machine maintenance parking spot on the map. On command, the product parks there automatically while waiting for service, cleaning, loading or storage.

appDrive - operate by remote

appDrive – operate by remote

Seize the opportunity to operate the product using a remote control via the appDrive feature on your smartphone. The handling is easy and user-friendly, sparing you from strenuous, unnecessary lifting when the product needs to be moved between workspaces, to the service facility, or during installation.

Object Detection/Avoidance

Object Detection/Avoidance

For safety and minimized downtime, built-in sensors using ultrasonic technology assist the product to detect or avoid objects. The Detection mode reduces the speed and makes collisions softer; the Avoidance mode reduces speed and stops before the object.

Unique cutting system

Unique cutting system

The principle of the cutting system is based on the grass surface being mowed regularly. This means that each blade of grass is cut very little at a time but often, which guarantees a strong, nice-looking and healthy turf. The robust cutting discs are equipped with sharp razor-like blades made of strong carbon steel. This provides efficient operation and extremely low energy consumption.

Active Wheel Brushes

Active Wheel Brushes

Efficient motorized wheel brushes that keep the drive wheels clean from wet clippings, dirt and autumn leaves. Improves the wheels traction, minimizes the risk of leavinging grass clumps and lowers the need of maintenance.

Balance control

Balance control

Automatically detects and notifies if imbalance in the cutting system occur to ensure trouble-free and silent operation. Imbalance could be caused by missing, double mounted or damaged blades.

FOTA – Firmware Over-The-Air

FOTA – Firmware Over-The-Air

FAQs

Will this fit my machine?

Fitment can vary by model and deck size. Send us your mower model (and deck size if applicable) and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order.

Do I need any extra brackets or fitting kits?

Some accessories require a mounting kit or specific brackets depending on your machine. If you’re unsure, ask us and we’ll advise the correct setup.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes — if you’d like installation, let us know when ordering and we can arrange fitting (collection, workshop fit, or on-site depending on the product).

Does this unit need a boundary wire?

No. CEORA 546 uses Husqvarna EPOS® RTK‑GNSS for virtual, wire‑free boundaries with high positional accuracy. Note that setting up and editing EPOS installations requires support via Automower Connect/Husqvarna Fleet Services during commissioning.

What comes in the box and what else do I need on site?

The product is supplied as the CEORA 546 drive unit only. A compatible cutting deck (RZ 43M or RZ 43L) and the CS4 charging station are required to complete the mower system and are supplied separately. Professional site survey and installation are recommended to provide power to the charging station, set up virtual work areas and connect the unit to Husqvarna Fleet Services.

How are updates, maintenance and theft protection handled?

Firmware updates are delivered over‑the‑air (FOTA) via Husqvarna Fleet Services. The system provides GPS theft tracking, alarms and remote status monitoring. Routine maintenance includes blade and disc checks, cleaning of cutting components and wheel brushes; the machine’s balance control and sensors will alert you to issues that need attention.
