The T540i XP® G is a battery-powered top-handle chainsaw built for professional tree care. It features a heated handle for comfort in cold or damp conditions, an oil-level indicator on the keypad, IPX4 rain resistance and Bluetooth connectivity to Husqvarna Fleet Services™. Note: battery and charger are not included — the saw is part of Husqvarna’s interchangeable 36 V battery system and delivers power comparable to a 40 cc petrol saw when used with a BLi200X battery.

Will this fit my machine?

Yes — if you’d like installation, let us know when ordering and we can arrange fitting (collection, workshop fit, or on-site depending on the product).
Does the saw come with a battery and charger?
No. The T540i XP® G is supplied without battery or charger. It uses Husqvarna’s 36 V interchangeable batteries — for performance comparable to a 40 cc petrol saw use a BLi200X battery (sold separately).
How do I operate the heated handle and keep the saw running in bad weather?
The heated handle is controlled from the keypad and can be switched on or off as required. The machine meets IPX4 for rain resistance, so it’s suitable for use in wet conditions; always follow standard safety and maintenance procedures after wet use.
What safety and maintenance features does the T540i XP® G have?
It has an inertia-activated chain brake for kickback protection, retained bar nuts to prevent loss, a chain oil indicator on the keypad and an adjustable oil pump. Recommended bar length is 30–40 cm and the saw uses .325″ mini SP21G chain. Weight is 2.6 kg excluding battery and cutting equipment.
