A dedicated reference station for Husqvarna EPOS™ satellite positioning. The RS1 handles signals between mower and satellites to enable wire‑free virtual boundaries and provides a working area up to 100 metres radius. I recommend fitting this where your lawn lacks reliable cellular or Wi‑Fi coverage across the full area.

Wire‑free, adjustable boundaries

Create and adjust virtual boundaries and stay‑out zones in the Automower® Connect app without laying perimeter wire, giving you flexible zoning and multiple work areas.

Large working radius

Provides a working area of up to 100 metres radius from the station, sufficient for most suburban and larger domestic sites where satellite coverage is required locally.

Reliable satellite signal handling

The station manages the communication between mower and satellites so the mower receives stable position information needed for EPOS™ operation.

Will this fit my machine?

Fitment can vary by model and deck size. Send us your mower model (and deck size if applicable) and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order.

Do I need any extra brackets or fitting kits?

Some accessories require a mounting kit or specific brackets depending on your machine. If you’re unsure, ask us and we’ll advise the correct setup.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes — if you’d like installation, let us know when ordering and we can arrange fitting (collection, workshop fit, or on-site depending on the product).

Does the RS1 remove the need for perimeter wire?

Yes. When used with an EPOS‑capable mower it enables wire‑free virtual boundaries configured in the Automower® Connect app, removing the need for traditional perimeter wire in the covered area.

How large an area does one RS1 cover?

One RS1 provides a working area of up to 100 metres radius from the station. Plan station placement so the entire lawn is within that radius or contact us to discuss additional stations or alternatives.

Do I still need this if I have cellular or Wi‑Fi?

If you have reliable cellular or Wi‑Fi coverage across the whole lawn, RTK correction data for compatible NERA mowers is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost, and a separate RS1 may not be necessary. I recommend the RS1 where network coverage is incomplete or unreliable.
