A purpose-built splitting axe for larger logs. The S2800 pairs a specially coated, wedge-shaped head with a fibre-reinforced PA shaft and stainless-steel shaft protection for durable, low-friction splitting. The balance point close to the head concentrates force into the cut and the milled backside provides a hammer function for driving non-hardened wedges.

Reduced friction head

The special non-stick coating on the axe head lowers friction and helps the head enter the wood more easily, speeding up each split and reducing bounce-back.

Optimised geometry for large logs

Head geometry and weight distribution concentrate power into the cut, so you get cleaner splits of larger, tougher logs with fewer strikes.

Durable shaft with protection

Fibre-reinforced PA shaft offers robust durability and the stainless-steel impact protection guards the shaft where it’s most likely to be damaged.
