A robust, general-purpose axe for construction and forest work. The A2400 pairs a 1.8 kg head with a 70 cm fibre-reinforced PA shaft and stainless steel shaft protection. The head has a low-friction coating for easier entry into wood and a milled backside suitable for driving wooden wedges.

High penetration and power

1.8 kg head and a balance point close to the head deliver strong, controlled strikes for efficient chopping and splitting of timber.

Low-friction coated head

Special non-stick coating reduces friction and helps the blade enter wood more easily while providing anti-corrosive protection.

Hammer function for wedges

The extra wide milled backside is designed for hammering wooden wedges — do not use hardened steel wedges on this surface.
