The Husqvarna 540i XP® is a professional rear‑handle battery chainsaw delivering petrol‑equivalent performance when fitted with a BLi300 battery. It ships without battery or charger and comes fitted with a 14″ (35 cm) S93G bar and chain. Built for demanding cutting tasks, it combines a high‑efficiency brushless motor, weather resistance and integrated Bluetooth connectivity for fleet and service tracking.
Petrol-equivalent power
When used with a BLi300 battery the 540i XP® matches the cutting capability of a 40 cc professional petrol saw, thanks to a 1.8 kW output shaft and an optimised drive system.
Fast, smooth cutting
High chain speed (24 m/s at max power) and a precision S93G sprocket‑nose bar deliver clean cuts and efficient wood removal for small to mid‑sized trees.
Efficient battery system
Part of Husqvarna’s interchangeable 36 V battery platform. SavE™ mode extends runtime and reduces noise for lighter tasks; batteries and chargers are sold separately.

Automatic shutdown
The product is automatically shut down after 3 minutes of being idle, which prolongs the life of the battery and also lower the risk for injuries when left unattended. With the chainbrake activated, the shutdown occurs after 30 minutes.

Will this fit my machine?
Fitment can vary by model and deck size. Send us your mower model (and deck size if applicable) and we’ll confirm compatibility before you order.
Do I need any extra brackets or fitting kits?
Some accessories require a mounting kit or specific brackets depending on your machine. If you’re unsure, ask us and we’ll advise the correct setup.
Can you fit it for me?
Yes — if you’d like installation, let us know when ordering and we can arrange fitting (collection, workshop fit, or on-site depending on the product).
Does the saw come with a battery and charger?
No. The 540i XP® is supplied without battery or charger. It uses Husqvarna 36 V BLi batteries; fitted with a BLi300 it achieves the stated petrol‑equivalent performance.
What bar and chain are fitted and what lengths are supported?
The saw is fitted with a 14″ (35 cm) S93G sprocket‑nose bar and 3/8″ mini chain. Recommended bar lengths are 30–40 cm (12–16 in).
Is the 540i XP® suitable for professional use in variable weather?
Yes. It is engineered for professional use, has IPX4 rain resistance and includes safety features such as an inertia‑activated chain brake and automatic shutdown after periods of idle operation.
