Replacing rotten wood can be a tricky and expensive job. Our Wet Rot Wood Hardener soaks into rotten wood and sets to make it hard again, so you don’t need to replace the wood.

Before You Start

Remove any loose or crumbling wood and make sure the area is dry. For the best repair, drill small holes into the wood so the hardener can get in deeper.

To make sure you don’t get any hardener on your skin, wear protective gloves. Open your doors and windows for ventilation.

Using Your Wood Hardener

Give the tin a good shake, pour some of the hardener out into the plastic lid. Then put it on with a paint brush. Make sure that you get enough on so that it completely soaks into the rotten wood.

Leave it to dry for 2 hours then scrub with a wire brush to get rid of any excess hardener.

Usage Areas: Any rotten interior and exterior wood.
Clean Up: Clean any tools with white spirit.
